Yes. Individual without a graduate degree can travel to Canada. The main requirement to visit Canada or other country is a valid passport and travel documents. In addition, you have to demonstrate ties to your home country and that you intend to leave the country at the end of your visit.

Yes. Tradesmen and people in that category can travel to Canada and work there, but they need to obtain a work permit and/or, a temporary resident visa (eTA) to enter the country. The work permit allows them to work legally, but it does not automatically grant entry into Canada.

Every visa has some conditions attached to it.

  1. Default stay can remain in Canada for up to 6 months per entry.
  2. Custom Duration the border officer can extend or reduce duration of stay and also notes that in the passport or visitor record.
  3. No stamp? If no stamp in your passport, you're authorized to stay for 6 months from your arrival date until the earliest expiry date of either your passport or biometric.
  4. Super Visa Exception: the holders are permitted up to a 5 year stay per entry.
  5. Some travelers only need an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) when arriving by air. Other must apply for a full visitor visa even just to transit through a Canada airport.
